چکیده

Abstract Social networking services (SNSs) are constantly used by a large number of people with various motivations and intentions depending on their social relationships purposes, thus, resulting in diverse strategies posting/consuming content SNSs. Therefore, it is important to understand the differences individual network locations surroundings. For this purpose, using game-theoretical model users called agents proposing co-evolutionary algorithm multiple-world genetic evolve strategy for each user, we investigated compared results artificial networks those Facebook ego network. From our experiments, found that did not select free rider strategy, which means just reading articles comments posted other users, network, although usually cost-effective appeared networks. We also who mainly comment articles/comments rarely post own appear but do connecting nearest-neighbor networks, think kind user actually exists real-world Our experimental simulation revealed friends was crucial factor identify users’ SNSs through analysis impact reward

Generating Robust Investment Strategies with Agent-Based Co-evolutionary System

Agent-based co-evolutionary systems seem to be convenient for modeling market-related behaviors, since they allow for defining competing and/or co-operating agents which can interact and communicate with each other and influence the environment and other agents. In the course of this paper the idea of utilizing of agent-based co-evolutionary approach for supporting decisions of financial invest...

Modeling and Analyzing Hydrocyclone Performances

Hydrocyclones have been used as an operational tool to separate liquids from solids in different industries for more than 50 years. Considering the importance of this issue, many experimental and numerical attempts have been made to estimate the performance of this tool regarding the resulting pressure drop and the separation efficiency (particles separation limit diameter...

Analyzing Adaptive Strategies: Human Behavioral Ecology at Twenty-Five

Human behavioral ecology (HBE) began in the mid-1970s with the application of optimal foraging models to hunter-gatherer decisions concerning resource selection and land use. In the 25 years since, the field has developed and successfully adapted evolutionary ecology theory and methods to a wide range of topics important to archaeology and to anthropology generally. In this review we examine th...

Value Encounters - Modeling and Analyzing Co-creation of Value

Recent marketing and management literature has introduced the concept of co-creation of value. Current value modeling approaches such as e3value focus on the exchange of value rather than co-creation. In this paper, an extension to e3-value is proposed in the form of a “value encounter”. Value encounters are defined as interaction spaces where a group of actors meet and derive value by each one...
